Eat Give Love: O, That’s Good! Fights Hunger

After Thanksgiving weekend, ~*Giving Tuesday*~ is the perfect coda to remember those in need.

For this Giving Tuesday, I want to spotlight O, That’s Good!, the Mealtime Stories, LLC joint venture between Kraft Heinz and Oprah Winfrey, which was inspired by Oprah’s love of nutritious-delicious food.

After launching the refrigerated foods collection in 2017 with four flavorful soups and four savory side dishes, it expanded this summer with four varieties of premium, delicious frozen pizzas!

With an emphasis on healthy eating, modern convenience, and comfort foods, O, That’s Good! boosts plant-based goodness. For instance, the O, That’s Good! Frozen Pizza uses 1/3 cauliflower in its crust, amplifying the nutritional value of traditional ingredients.

The high-quality, delicious line is available nation-wide. I found mine at Shop Rite, a chain of local supermarkets here in New Jersey.

The coolest part?

To celebrate and support this holiday season of giving, O! That’s Good! will donate one meal for every product bought in its proprietary line to someone in need through a partnership with Feeding America, which runs through December 29, 2018.

Feeding America is the nation’s largest hunger-relief org with a national network of 200 food banks to fight hunger via food pantries and meal programs. It also supports programs that improve food security, educates about hunger, and advocates for humanitarian legislation.

The simple fact is that every human on this earth is entitled to clean food and pure water, but one in eight Americans struggles with hunger. Let’s all pitch-in to end hunger!
