Dance and fashion have borrowed from each other since time immemorial, and this season’s SS19 RTW collections is no exception.
As the last leg of the September shows currently winds-down in Paris, the historic Parisian house, Christian Dior, showed its collection set against to Israeli choreographer Sharon Eyal’s performers at the Longchamp racecourse in Paris’s Bois de Boulogne.
Models wore creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s latest collection of light, classical ballet silhouettes in tulle and silk, while performers leaped across the runway in Dior-designed bodysuits.
The ten dancers from the L-E-V ensemble that Eyal leads with her partner Gai Behar mixed moves from different eras and choreographers such as Pina Bausch, Isadora Duncan, and Martha Graham. So lovely! Watch the entire show here!
